Oakmore School Boundaries

OHA has been working with the Oakland Public Schools to integrate all of Oakmore into one school cachement area. To date, the revised boundary line adds the odd-numbered homes in the 1500 – 1700 block on Leimert Boulevard, Edge Drive in its entirety, the odd-numbered side of Hoover Avenue, plus Leimert Place into the Joaquin Miller/Montera School area. While we are pleased with this revision, our goal is to have the entire area within the boundary of the Oakmore Homes Association in one school district. We will continue to support this goal until the children of Oakmore Road and Clemens can attend the same schools as their neighbors.
